Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

The short version: Curator exists to help you understand your own information. We collect what you give us — your account details and the content you choose to connect — and use it for one purpose: producing your personal intelligence. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and the sources you connect stay yours. Disconnect a source or delete your account at any time.

1. Who we are

Curator is a personal intelligence system operated by Mice On The Moon, LLC ("Mice On The Moon," "we," "us"). It is available as a web application at app.joincurator.app and as mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Service"). This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the web app, and the mobile apps.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information from that provider. Authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider, Supabase.

Content you connect or add

Curator's core function is analyzing content you choose to bring in. Depending on what you connect, this includes:

When you authorize a connected platform, we store the access and refresh tokens needed to sync it on your behalf. These tokens are encrypted at rest.

Payment information

If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe, Apple, or Google, depending on where you subscribe). We receive subscription status and billing metadata; we never receive or store your full card number.

Technical information

Like most services, we collect basic technical data needed to operate securely: log data, device and browser type, IP address, and diagnostic events. We do not use advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.

4. AI processing

Curator uses large language models to read and analyze your content. To do this, portions of your connected content are sent to AI model providers that process it on our behalf as service providers. We use these providers only to generate your analysis; we do not permit them to use your content to train their models where the provider offers that control, and we select providers and configurations accordingly. AI-generated output is stored in your account alongside the sources it was derived from.

5. How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that make Curator work, and only for that purpose:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to your information until you're told otherwise).

6. Third-party platforms you connect

When you connect a platform, your use of that platform remains governed by its own terms and privacy policy, and you can revoke Curator's access at any time — from within Curator, or from the platform itself:

When you disconnect a platform, we stop syncing it and delete the stored tokens for it.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual sources and their derived intelligence from within the Service. If you delete your account — from account settings or by emailing support@miceonthemoon.studio — we delete your personal information, your connected-source content, and your derived intelligence within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain limited records (for example, billing history).

8. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS). OAuth tokens for your connected platforms are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but protecting the content you trust us with is a core design constraint of Curator — if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict the processing of, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the Service; for anything else, email support@miceonthemoon.studio and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of under the CCPA/CPRA's "sale or sharing" provisions. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

Curator is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

Curator is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
